Based on my experience as a barista, I highly recommend the Brewista Artisan Electric Gooseneck Kettle for day-to-day activities, whether you’re brewing coffee or making tea.
It’s a high-quality product that lasts and helps you achieve perfection in your coffee brewing.
I’ve had a kettle since 2019, and to this day, it doesn’t have a scratch, and I haven’t encountered any problems with it. It still works just like the first day I bought it.

What Is The Brewista Artisan Kettle Made Of?
First of all, let’s talk about Brewista. Brewista is a group of engineers, designers, and specialty coffee lovers who are doing a great job innovating the specialty coffee industry. They make their Brewista Artisan Kettle in Wyoming.
The kettle itself is made of ASTM food-grade 304 stainless steel.
Stainless steel plate is a standard 18-8 material, meaning it contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which ensures high quality. The kettle also has a wooden handle, providing a soft grip.
You can set the temperature between 40-100°C and switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. But the kettle offers even more amazing features.
There’s a button that allows you to maintain the water temperature at your desired level, which is especially helpful when brewing a V60 because the water temperature needs to be precise.
The gooseneck design helps control the water flow, ensuring a consistent pour without having to worry about pouring too slowly or too quickly.

Bodum Melior Gooseneck Electric Water Kettle
Bodum’s Melior is a stylish electric gooseneck kettle with an edgy (and effective) cork handle and top knob. It’s way less expensive than the Brewista, but still works just fine. That said, you get what you pay for and Bodum leaves all the Brewista bell and whistles out at its price point. If you’re not into pour-overs at all, it could be a cheaper but still great product to go for.

Bonavita Digital Variable Temperature Gooseneck Electric Kettle
The Bonavita Digital Variable Temperature Gooseneck Electric Kettle is very similar to Brewista’s Artisan Electric option we’re reviewing here. But there are some key distinctions to keep in mind. For one, Bonavita offers a size up capacity-wise from Brewista, but doesn’t feature the same levels of control of pouring and temperature that we love.
